WebSep 18, 2012 · Turn out that the Viscous Fan was good. However, my radiator was 1/2 gunked up meaning the Bi-Metal coupling was not getting hot enough so the electric fan did the work. The top hose actually split the day i dropped it to have the rad serviced. Very lucky, Cleaned the rad out, new top hose and thermostat now the Fan is working!
