WebJul 20, 2011 · This is indeed a single stage paint! I was about 5-6" away from the hood, I put on 3 medium-wet coats. About 20 minutes between coats (this paint has a activated pot-life of 3 hours so the gun was fine!). Nothing even close to runs but definitely not dry.
