WebJul 18, 2024 · I have 4 McIntosh ML-1C speakers that are brand new in box. New Old Stock. But from age of 45 yrs old, the foam surrounds have deteriorated. These came from the very end of the 7 year run of this model. The serial numbers are BL9817 thru 9820 out of a possible 9999. But no one knows if they even made them to 9999. Are these still be considered a pretty decent speaker on par with version 2 or 3 Paradigm Studio 100's or the older PSB Gold's for a 90% home theater setup?
